Spring Game Draft Order and Rosters

The draft for the annal spring game took place today at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.

The usual spring game draft rules were in effect. Seniors were not drafted but rather were assigned to teams by the coaching staff. Additionally, this year all the players from Coldwater High Schoool were assigned since their high school coach is an honorary coach for the scarlet squad.

The team with the first draft pick not only chose the first player, but chose the first position to be drafted. Draft rules require that the draft continue at that position only until all players at that position are assigned. The team with the second pick then choses a position and has the first pick in that round. This year the scarlet opened the draft at quarterback and took Terrelle Pryor with the first overall pick.
