"Growing up in Ohio and in a coaching family, the opportunity to coach at Ohio State is a dream-come-true for me," said Beckman.

Additionally, assistant coach Darell Hazell will be assuming the title of Assistant Head Coach.

Darrell is a very talented coach and has done a great job for us," said Tressel. "Now, in addition to coaching, he will take on a few more administrative duties that had been handled by Jim Heacock."
